All About The Beer Consulting was founded by Martin Entwistle following the lifting of COVID restrictions in 2021. Martin brings 30 years of experience in the UK beer industry, having built his commercial and strategic capability during 22 years with major multinational brewers. His career has spanned senior roles across Sales, Marketing, Strategy and Project Delivery, giving him a rare, end‑to‑end understanding of how successful beer businesses operate.
In 2017, Martin moved into the craft sector with his first Managing Director appointment, before taking on MD responsibilities at Laine Brew Co in August 2021. Initially joining as a consultant, he went on to lead a four‑year transformation of the business and brand — strengthening performance, sharpening strategy and building a more resilient, future‑ready organisation.
Martin’s approach is grounded in market intelligence, data and financial discipline. He believes that great strategy is built on facts, not assumptions, and that great execution comes from clear plans, strong project management and aligned teams. His leadership philosophy is simple: when people understand the direction of travel and what’s expected of them, they deliver exceptional results.
Today, Martin works as an independent consultant, helping beer and beverage businesses achieve their goals — whether that’s launching a new venture, turning around performance, accelerating growth, or preparing for sale.
